[Driver Eligibility Requirements]

You are not allowed to rent a car if any of the following conditions apply:

  • Under 20 years old
  • 70 years old or older
  • Less than one year since obtaining your driver's license

If the driver does not meet the above conditions at the time of departure, the reservation will be canceled and no refund will be provided. Thank you for your understanding.

[Required Documents for Rental Use]

To use the rental car, you must present the following required documents at the time of departure.
If you are unable to provide the required documents, your reservation will be canceled and no refund will be issued.

Identification Document

  • Valid passport (original)
  1. Driver’s License (One of the following)
    [A] For those with an International Driving Permit (IDP):
  • Driver’s license (original) issued by the same country or region as your passport
  • International Driving Permit (based on the 1949 Geneva Convention)

※ The following types of IDPs are not accepted:

1926 Paris Convention / 1943 Washington Convention / 1968 Vienna Convention
※ The IDP must be issued by the same country as your driver's license, be in paper format, and clearly state “International Driving Permit” and “1949”.

[B] Driver’s License with Japanese Translation (Only for the following countries/regions):

Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Monaco

  • Valid driver's license (original) from one of the above countries/regions
  • Official Japanese translation (issued by JAF or the embassy/consulate)
  • Passport

※ A translation alone is not valid for driving. You must present it together with the original driver's license.

[Other Important Notes]
•Both the driver’s license and the International Driving Permit (IDP) must be valid and not expired.
•To drive a vehicle that seats 10 or more passengers, a bus driver’s license is required.
